My Lost Family

My Lost Family by Danny Ben-Moshe

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a podcast-type production that shares the stories of various family members decades after a terrible event. A young mother’s two children were abducted by their father and she doesn’t think she’ll ever see them again. Many years later, she receives a letter from the daughter she lost.

Lillian’s son, Danny, interviews his half-brother and sister, his mother and father, and even his mother’s ex-husband and one of his later wives. I went through many emotions, mostly anger and outrage, and wanted to give out a few hugs (and punches). Definitely worth the listen. I’m pretty sure this was one of the Audible Originals that was part of the membership. If you have the chance, check it out.
